The Annual 5K Run, Night Flight is set for 9 p.m. Friday, June 14 at Harris Park. The race route will begin and end at Harris Park and go through downtown Lee’s Summit, the entire route is paved. Pre-registration only. Fees are $30 for participants ages 14 and up and $25 for 13 and under. Night of registrations will not be available. Lee’s Summit Parks & Recreation is hosting a post-race swim at Summit Waves. Participants will have free entry to the “Dash & Dive Party” and family members are welcome for $4 each.

Lee’s Summit Attorney Randall Cain was elected President of the Eastern Jackson County Bar Association at the annual meeting on May 3. Randall began his practice in 1984, and has had offices in Lee’s Summit since 1986. He specializes in personal injury and wrongful death cases.
