Richard J. Beckwith Sr., 72, baptized in the Hope of Christ’s Resurrection, died Dec. 24, 2011.

John Mark Culler, 57, Lee’s Summit, died at home Dec. 22, 2011, after a 49 year battle with muscular dystrophy. He “fought the good fight, finished the race, kept the faith” and is now in the arms of his loving Lord.

John Alan Lindmark, 63, Grain Valley, died Dec. 22, 2011, at St. Luke’s Heart Institute from complications of heart failure.

Claude Leon Whiteman, 75, Lawson, formerly of Holden, died Dec. 24, 2011, at NorthCare Hospice, North Kansas City.

Marie Arbonies, 84, died at Baptist East Hospital, Louisville, Ky., Dec. 24, 2011.

Norman D. Dreher, 85, Lee’s Summit, died Dec. 19, 2011, at the Lee’s Summit Medical Center.

Lawrence W. Gillenwater, 92, Marshall, formerly of Lee’s Summit, died Dec. 18, 2011, at Fitzgibbon Hospital, Marshall.

Carroll Wayne Foster, 80, Lee’s Summit, died Dec. 15, 2011, at Lee’s Summit Medical Center.

Evalyn L. Anderson Cundiff, 98, a former resident of Spring Hill, Kan., Belton, and John Knox Village, Lee’s Summit, is again dancing the waltz with her loving husband of 72 years, Floyd, in their eternal home. She passed peacefully from this life Dec. 14, 2011, at Wilshire at Lakewood, where she resided the past eight months.

Patsy Faye Swartz, 81, a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, Independence, died Dec. 10, 2011, at her home surrounded by her family.

Marjorie Elizabeth Green, 66, Lee’s Summit, peacefully passed away Dec. 6, 2011, at the Kansas City Hospice House surrounded by her family.

Marilyn June (Holquist) Larson, 85, Lee’s Summit, died Dec. 3, 2011.

James Edward Sewell, 49, died Dec. 1, 2011, at his home in Lee’s Summit.
