Marvin F. Rice

Marvin F. Rice, 83, Butler, died Jan. 28, 2010 at the Kansas City Hospice House of kidney failure.

Mr. Rice is survived by two children, Terry Rice and wife, Sandy, Butler, and Susie King and husband, Phil, Lee’s Summit; one brother, Clinton Rice, Kansas City; one grandson, Cameron Rice, Butler; four granddaughters, Tina Miller and Keri Lysaght, Lee’s Summit, Tara Vermillion, Adrian, Kacie Robey, Butler; eight great-grandchildren, Sarah, Emma and Noah Miller, Bailey Lysaght, Drake and Daylyn Vermillion, Zayne and Bryleigh Robey; and a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services were Feb. 2 at the Atkinson Chapel in Adrian. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery, Butler. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the Kansas City Hospice House, 12000 Wornall Rd., Kansas City, MO 64145.
