Journal hosts annual Senior Ball
Miranda Wycoff, Journal Staff
It's time to break out your dancing shoes and cut a rug.
The Lee’s Summit Journal is again hosting its annual Senior Ball from 6 to 10 p.m. March 2 at the Pavilion at John Knox Village, 520 N.W. Murray Road, Lee’s Summit.
The event is open to all senior citizens and will include dinner, live entertainment, door prizes, information booths and of course, dancing.
This year the ball will feature the Krazy Kats, a classic rock and roll band native to the Kansas City area. The Krazy Kats have been performing together for more than 50 years since they first played at a Valentine’s Day dance in 1957.
Advance tickets are $23 per person and $38 per couple if the tickets are purchased before Feb. 12. Tickets purchased after that date are $25 per person and $40 per couple.
All tickets must be purchased by Feb. 24.
The event is hosted by the Lee’s Summit Journal and sponsored by Truman Medical Center – Lakewood, John Knox Village, Echo Hearing Systems and Silverstein Eye Centers.
