closeThe Lee’s Summit Chamber of Commerce highlighted the spirit of entrepreneurship by hosting the Fifth Annual Entrepreneurs in Motion Breakfast Nov. 15 at the University of Central Missouri’s Lee’s Summit campus.
More than 50 Chamber members and others attended the event to hear one of Kansas City’s most successful entrepreneurs, John McDonald, founder and president of Boulevard Brewing Company.
McDonald told the inspirational and motivational story about building a successful business and overcoming several trials, tribulations and barriers along the way. The Entrepreneurs in Motion Breakfast was sponsored by HSMC Certified Public Accountant LLC, Kansas City Power & Light and Sprint.
This event was held in conjunction with Global Entrepreneurship Week, which boasts nearly 58,000 events throughout the world, involving nearly 11 million people.
