Marie Arbonies, 84, died at Baptist East Hospital, Louisville, Ky., Dec. 24, 2011.</p><p>Marie was born Feb. 22, 1927, in Kansas City. She was married for more than 35 years to Harvey Arbonies until his death in 1982. Together they owned Harvey&#x92;s Jewelry, Lee&#x92;s Summit. After high school she attended classed at the Kansas City Art Institute. Art was a hobby she enjoyed all her life. She was passionate about her music, played the piano and enjoyed many types of music, especially opera and classical. Her family and friends were a source of great joy to Marie. Finally, she loved her pets; and Charlie was her companion during her last years. Marie was a member of Our Lady of Presentation parish and served on various committees.</p><p>Besides her husband, Marie was predeceased by her brother, Steve Vogli; and her parents, Steve and Antenetta Vogliardo.</p><p>Marie is survived by her children, Gary Arbonies, San Diego, Calif., Denise Arbonies, Kansas City (Kim Bennett), Debbie McCoy, Louisville; and her grandchildren, Chris Arbonies, Louisville, and Kelly Kinser (Ryan), Boston, Mass.</p><p>Visitation will be at 9 a.m., Dec. 29, Holy Spirit Church, Lee&#x92;s Summit, followed by services at 10 a.m. and burial in Mt.
