William Kenneth Shaw Sr., 77, Lee&#x92;s Summit, died Dec. 27, 2011.</p><p>William was born Feb. 11, 1934, in Cass County. In 1953, he married the love of his life, Patricia Magee. He retired from KCP&L after 47 years of service. He loved gambling at the boat, playing Nintendo, fishing, football, baseball and his lawn mower.</p><p>He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; and three sisters.</p><p>Survivors include his wife, Patricia; one son, William K. Shaw Jr. (Kathleen); one daughter, Heather Wilde (Joseph); seven grandchildren, Jennifer, Kenny, Aspen, Emma, Cheyenne, Geno and Nathan; three great-grandchildren, Savannah, Ayden and Elijah; one brother, Bud Shaw; and William&#x92;s puppy, Rocky.</p><p>Memorial services will be at 4 p.m., Jan. 8, at Langsford Funeral Home.
