Michael Ray Leonard, 57, Lee&#x92;s Summit, died Jan. 10, 2012, at Research Medical Center after a long illness.</p><p>Michael was born May 22, 1954, in Sedalia. He was married to his wife, Debbie, for 32 years. Michael worked for Aventis for 30 years, retiring in 2004. Michael volunteered for many organizations and enjoyed helping others.</p><p>He was preceded in death by his brother, David; sister, Susan; and grandparents.</p><p>Survivors include his wife, Debbie; daughter, Heather; son, Brandon; and parents, Harry and Barbara Leonard, Belton.</p><p>Funeral services will be Jan. 14 at Langsford Funeral Home, Lee&#x92;s Summit. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. with service and burial immediately following.
