Pat Arne, 63, Holden, died Jan. 10, 2012, at her home surrounded by her family.

Pat was born Jan. 9, 1949, in Norfolk, Va., daughter of William and Mary E. (Webster) Todd. She graduated from Leeton High School in 1967. She was united in marriage to Chester Arne March 8, 1969, at the First Christian Church, Warrensburg. Pat lived in Johnson County, Mo., for the majority of her life. She was in supervisory management and was a program analyst at the National Records Center. She retired from the Department of Homeland Security for the Division of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. Pat was a devoted member of Elm Springs Baptist Church. She enjoyed playing the piano and spending time with her family brought her special joy.

She was preceded in death by both parents; and infant sister, Rebecca Webster; and a nephew, Richard Webster.

Survivors include her husband, Chet; three children, Michelle Dickmeyer and husband, Mark, Sibley, Dawn Vermillion and husband, Travis, Kincaid, Kan., and Matthew Arne and wife, Leah, Chilhowee; two sisters; Mildred Rhode and husband, Morris, Prairie Home, and Cheryl Cox and husband, Steve, Independence; two brothers, Clyde Webster and wife, Lucy, Smithton, and Paul Webster, Independence; and eight grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at noon Jan. 14 at Elm Springs Baptist Church, north of Kingsville, with Rev. Robin Dale officiating. Internment will follow in Pisgah Cemetery, southeast of Holden. Pallbearers will be Anders Arne, John Webster, Adams Dickmeyer, Kyle Dickmeyer, Jeremy Bates and Brian Bates. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dalton Arne, Triston Arne, Codi Vermillion, Truett Vermillion, Nate Rodgers, James Webster and Randy Webster.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Jan. 13 at the church.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Elm Springs Baptist Church Building Fund in care of the home.
