Donating for Sandy recovery

Ben Martin, president of the Summit Theatre Group, takes time Oct. 30 to give blood at the American Red Cross blood drive hosted by the Downtown Lee’s Summit Rotary Club at the Firefighter’s Union Hall, 322 S.E. Douglas St. Martin was just in time to help those in the Northeast affected by Hurricane Sandy, which forced the cancellation of approximately 100 American Red Cross blood drives in 11 states along the East Coast.
