Domestic dispute causes lockdown
Three schools in LS were temporarily locked down

A domestic dispute led to three Lee’s Summit schools being locked down Nov. 19, but the disagreement was resolved without incident.
According to Lee’s Summit police Lee’s Summit North High, Campbell Middle and Richardson Elementary schools were all locked down time around 11 a.m. after a man threatened to pull his children from school after a domestic disturbance, but the man was later arrested at Lake Jacomo and taken into custody.
No charges had been filed by the Journal’s press time.
