Countdown to holiday begins

Mayor Randy Rhoads leads the countdown for the Tree Lighting Nov. 16, an annual event sponsored by Downtown Lee’s Summit Main Street. Neal Finkle, a 15-year volunteer for the event, starting when he was 12, will help Rhoads throw the switch.
