County taxes can be paid at City Hall
Jackson County Personal Property and Real Estate tax bills can be paid at Lee’s Summit City Hall.
The city benefits by receiving 1 percent of tax dollars collected for acting as an agent for Jackson County. Taxpayers benefit by receiving their tax receipt immediately upon payment. Payment is accepted by cash or check made payable to Jackson County Collector.The city Treasury Office will be open 8 am. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at City Hall, 220 SE Green Street. In observance of the Christmas holiday, the office will be closed Monday December 24th and Tuesday Dec. 25. Extended hours, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., will be offered Wednesday Dec. 26th to Friday Dec. 28 and Monday Dec 31.If your statement is incorrect, you may bring it to the Treasury office for correction prior to the last week of December. Please note that titles, registrations or proof of sale documents are required for billing corrections.Parking is available on Green Street, in the parking garage at Second and Green streets or in the lot on the north side of the building. Treasury is located on the first floor of City Hall, near the north entrance.
