Church on the Rock Outreach Center will be hosting Christmas Outreach 2012 this Sunday.</p><p>As part of its Christmas celebration at 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Dec. 16 the church will give out Christmas Dinner food boxes (complete with meat) to families in need. </p><p>Reservations are required because of limited quantities, and attendance during one of the services, at 1700 SW Market St., is necessary to pick up food box. The services starts with Christmas music and Pastor Toney Hensley will preach a Christmas message. Call <a href ="http://tel:816-246-7625" target="_blank">816-246-7625</a>.</p><p>The Church on the Rock Outreach Center gave out 174 Thanksgiving Dinner food boxes (complete with turkey and all the fixing&#x2019;s) to families in need. Partners with the church to help make the community outreach possible, including Cargill, Inc., Alliant Techsystems, Inc., American Food Service, Xtreme Family Fitness, Diamond Muffler and Brake, Lee&#x2019;s Summit Walmart, Berry Jennings Insurance and members of Church on the Rock Outreach Center.
