Lee’s Summit man killed in motorcycle crash on I-70 in KCK

Dec. 14 – The Kansas Turnpike Authority has identified the man killed in a motorcycle crash at Interstates 70 and 635 as Jonathan George Dudley, 31 of Lee’s Summit.

Dudley died when he crashed his 2000 Harley Davidson Motorcycle about 9 p.m. Thursday. Dudley was eastbound on I-70 in Kansas City, Kan., when he attempted to take the ramp to northbound Interstate 635. His motorcycle left the road to the left and he struck a guardrail, according to the Turnpike Authority.

Authorities closed all eastbound lanes on I-70 for a while they investigated the crash scene.
