A smooth path to open soon

New sidewalks continued to take shape up and down Persels Road this week as workers from Leath & Sons out of Raytown put a retaining wall here near the Pleasant Lee campus. The wall will keep the dirt away from the nearby ball fields. Workers said lights will go up this week over the new sidewalks as well. Voters in 2010 approved a $37.4 million No-Tax increase bond issue which included funding for the improvements and many others.
