PLMS High 5 Award winners for December

Pleasant Lea Middle School recently recognized its High 5 Award winners, which are selected by the school’s academic departments.

The Science Department at Pleasant Lea Middle School selected the High 5 winners for December. Winners are from left, Jaggar Kurtz, Most Improved Seventh-grader; Amy Tippin, Outstanding Seventh-grader; Kaleevon Jackson, Most Improved Eighth-grader and Megan Stanton, Outstanding Eighth-grader.

The school’s Partners In Education, Lee’s Summit Medical Center and Mazuma Credit Union, along with PLMS sponsor the award. The High 5 Award was designed to promote academic excellence among the students of PLMS. Lee’s Summit Medical Center presents each student with a Target Gift Card, and Mazuma Credit Union purchases a gift card to Sonic. Janette Miller (pictured with group), PLMS principal, presented the students with their awards.
