Local football players honored

The Missouri Football Coaches Association All-State football team has been announced and several local players have been recognized.

In Class 5, on first team offense are Lee’s Summit West senior wide receiver Austin Burau and senior offensive lineman Tyler Reid. On first team defense are Lee’s Summit West senior defensive lineman Lane Pennington, senior linebacker Michael Holt and senior defensive back Brandon Miller.

In Class 6, on second team offense is Lee’s Summit senior wide receiver Ian Burch.
