Registration open for LSPR’s father/daughter dance “Glitz & Glamour”

Registrations are going on now for Lee’s Summit Parks and Recreation’s annual father/daughter dinner and dance. This year’s theme is “Glitz & Glamour” designed to make every little girl feel like a superstar. Dads and daughters have three times and two locations to choose to attend. They include 6-9 p.m., Feb. 1, at the Gamber Center and 6-9 p.m., Feb. 2, at Legacy Park Community Center or the Gamber Center.

This event is for daughters 3-12 years old and fathers, stepfathers, and grandfathers of all ages. Enjoy dinner, music, dancing and games. Keepsakes including a rose, goody bag and a free photo will be given to take home .A professional photographer will be on site for “couple’s photos” and party pics, more of which will be available to order after the event.

To register, call 816-969-1500 or go online to lsparks.net. Hurry, this event fills fast and the early bird registration ends on Jan. 11. It is $25 per person, after that fees raise to $28 per person. Space is limited. Sorry, seat reservations are not available.

The Legacy Park Community Center is located at 901 NE Bluestem Drive in Lee’s Summit.

The Gamber Center is located at 4 SE Independence Avenue in Lee’s Summit.
