Neighbors participate in friendly competition

Dec. 15, Westbrooke Neighborhood Association held their first Outdoor Lighting competition with its residents living along Timberbrooke Drive and Frances Street. Jim O’Shea, vice president of the association coordinated the efforts with the selected judges consisting of Mayor Randy Rhoads; Kim Fritchie, Chairperson of the Lee’s Summit Beautification Commission; and Syrtiller Kabat, Arts Commission. First place and honorable mention were given. The first place winner was Renee Wuthnow, 519 NW Timberbrooke Dr. and the honorable mention went to Carl and Ellen Cleland, 512 NW Timberbrooke Drive.
