Tackling a big project

Clear weather and only chilly temperatures made a comfortable day Jan. 7 for tree trimming. Joe Garlow, of Lee’s Summit, doing property maintenance for the owner, was cutting back trees at duplexes near Orchard and Independence streets. Earlier he’d topped a lot of trees along Olive Street.
