Metro Sports Kansas City released its first Super 25 Basketball Teams of the year, which includes Kansas City area teams in both Kansas and Missouri in all class sizes. </p><p>Four local teams were named to the list. On the boys&#x2019; list, Lee&#x2019;s Summit North was ranked No. 11, followed by Lee&#x2019;s Summit West ranked No. 13 and Summit Christian Academy ranked No. 24. Summit Christian Academy is one of only three private schools on the list.</p><p>&#x201C;It is an honor for our team to be ranked by Metro Sports in their Super 25,&#x201D; Summit Christian Academy head coach Jake Kates said. &#x201C;It speaks volumes about the effort and commitment the guys put into this season. My goal this year has been for these boys to reach their full potential as young men, leaders, students and athletes. I believe being recognized by Metro Sports is a by-product of not only their hard work but their dedication to excellence as well.&#x201D;</p><p>The Lee&#x2019;s Summit North girls were ranked No. 18 on the girls&#x2019; basketball list.
