Massy-Powell engagement

Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Dean Powell are pleased to announce the engagement of their son, Ashley Dean Powell, to Melissa Lee Massy, both of Denver, Co.

Ashley graduated from Lee’s Summit Senior High School in 2000, receiving his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science at Grinnell College in 2004 and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Iowa College of Law in 2009. He is an associate attorney at Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck in Denver.

Melissa Lee Massy is the daughter of Sara Burger Massy of DeLand, Fla. and the late Hugo R. Massy of Trinidad, Wi. Melissa graduated from Father Lopez High School in Daytona Beach, Fla, received her Bachelor’s degree from Sweet Briar College and her Masters of Social Work from Colorado State University in 2012. She is employed as an elementary school counselor.

The couple will be married on March 9, 2013 in Estes Park, Co.
