Irma Elizabeth DeWitt, age 93, of Lee’s Summit, passed away Jan. 27, 2013.
Irma was born June 6, 1919 in Hamburg, Ark. She married Julius E. DeWitt on Oct. 3, 1943 in Grandview. They enjoyed 68 wonderful years of marriage. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Emma McLeod; husband, Julius E. (Jude) DeWitt; brothers, Osborn McLeod and Clifton McLeod.
She is survived by a daughter, Jacquelin Maddux (Hank); grandsons, Jason Maddux (Jennifer) and Joshua Maddux (Cari); great-grandson Nicholas Maddux; nephews, John McLeod and Jerry Sage; and nieces, Pat Tomerlin, Janet Johnson and Judy Ramsey.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Jan. 31 at Langsford Funeral Home with visitation at 10 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to your favorite charity.
