Lions club Jan. meeting

The Lee’s Summit Lions Club met at the Bob Evans Restauant on Jan. 22, and at that meeting Lion Treasurer, Kirby Vanatta, the Peace Poster Chairperson, presented Summit Lakes Middle School student Hannah Brown with a check for $25. This check represents the prize for winning first place in the Lions Club Peace Poster contest for that school. Also present at that meeting was Hannah’s Mother, Father, Little Sister and Art teacher Jewelle Lukowski. Other business, Lions President Gary Hoffman presented a 20 year member’s pin to Lion Voyn Breshears.
