LSHS teacher at Youth Leadership Development Workshop

Stacey Moore, social studies teacher at Lee’s Summit High School, was invited to speak at The Youth Leadership Development Workshop Jan. 18 at the Kauffmann Center in Kansas City. The event was in honor of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday. Moore held a break-out session about youth leadership including setting high expectations, accepting responsibility and learning from failures with the over-arching theme of the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
