<span class="subhead">PEGGY JEAN KAREL</span></p><p>Peggy Jean Karel, 63 of Lee&#x2019;s Summit, passed away Jan. 31, 2013. </p><p>Peggy was a long time foster parent, where she helped many children and families. She loved each of the children she cared for dearly.</p><p>Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, sister and parents.</p><p>She is survived by her daughter, Tracy Karel; granddaughter, Breanna Karel; daughter, Vanessa Specht-Karel; son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Sonya Karel and their children, Lauren and Colton; daughter Ashley Chrisco-Karel as well as four special children.
