SCA Youth Court graduates
Summit Christian Academy recently had five students graduate from the Lee’s Summit Youth Court. Pictured here are Lee’s Summit Police Chief Joseph Piccinini, sophomore Logan Kenepaske, eighth-grade student Andrew Hartzler, Lee’s Summit Sgt. Mike Childs, seventh-grade student Bo Redford and freshman Trey Glidewell, Lee’s Summit Officer Chris Colon and the Honorable James Tobin. Not pictured is seventh-grade student Connor Healy. Youth Court is a diversion program where students between the ages of 13 and 19 defend, try, judge and convict or exonerate juveniles who have been charged in Lee’s Summit with delinquent or status offenses.
