M. ADELINE CLARK
M. Adeline Clark, 83, of Lee’s Summit, passed away on Feb. 7, 2013 at Wilshire at Lakewood.
Adeline was born on Apr. 4, 1929 in Clinton, Iowa. Her parents were Russell White and Mary Pleyer White. She graduated from Salisbury High School and received a B.S. Degree in Education from Kirksville Teachers College. Adeline was an elementary teacher for many years, first in the Parkville School District and then later in the Kansas City Missouri School District. After retiring, she enjoyed spending more time reading, gardening, traveling, square dancing, cooking and being with her family.
Adeline was preceded in death by one brother, David White and husband, Robert Clark
She is survived by their children; Linda Clark of Lee’s Summit, Marcia Clark of Olathe, Kan., Laura Lehenbauer and husband Gregg of Liberty, Nancy Eckels and husband Dan of Fayetteville, Ark.; six grandchildren, Kara, Jon, and Daniel Lehenbauer and Clark, Samantha and Zach Eckels. Adeline will be extremely missed by her family.
Funeral services were held Feb. 9, 2013 with burial in Raymore Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Crossroads Hospice or Parkinson’s Foundation.
