BOBBY J. YARBOROUGH

Bobby J. Yarborough, 76, of Lee’s Summit, passed away Feb. 9, 2013 at Kansas City Hospice House.

Bobby was born Aug. 29, 1936 in Temple, Texas. After Bobby graduated from the University of Texas he worked 26 years as equipment manager for the Dallas Texans and Kansas City Chiefs while working for Lamar Hunt and Hank Stram. He was part of the 1969 Super Bowl Champion Kansas City Chiefs. Bobby enjoyed his grandsons sporting events and never missed one. His presence in the stands will be greatly missed.

Bobby was preceded in death by his mother Robbie Mae Larner; father “Pop” Larner, Son Keith Palmer and brother, Gary Yarborough.

Survivors include sons; Kelly and Tim Yarborough, Craig, Chris and Brian Palmer, brother Gary Yarborough, 11 grandsons and one granddaughter.

Memorial service will be Feb. 16, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Langsford Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Bobby donated his body to science.

Memorial contributions may be made to Kansas City Hospice House.
