Lee’s Summit Sunrise Rotary Club

7:15 a.m., Emaline Ballroom – Every Friday morning you are cordially invited to attend the Lee’s Summit Sunrise Rotary at the Emaline Ballroom, 616 SW Third St. You will have the opportunity to meet our many business members, have breakfast provided by local restaurateurs and hear an interesting program. 5–9 p.m., Downtown Lee’s Summit – Sheri L. So is the featured artist for Downtown Lee’s Summit Main Street’s Cultural Arts Committee. She will present an array of her mixed-media mosaic pieces from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22, at Mingle, 209 SE Main St., in Downtown Lee’s Summit. A free wine tasting begins at 7 p.m. Her pieces will be on display through Mar. 16.

A reception and opening also will take place for Kathy Drungilas, Cathy Kline, Elaine Lierly Jones, Darla Zook and Robin Richerson from 6 to 8 p.m., Feb. 22, at Got Art Gallery, 18 SW Third St., in Downtown Lee’s Summit.

“On the Razzle”

Feb. 22: 7:30 p.m., Feb. 23 & 24: 2:30 & 7:30 p.m.Lee’s Summit High School, 400 SE Blue Parkway – This winter play promises to have audiences rolling, with two hours of slapstick shenanigans, mistaken identities, misdirected orders, malapropisms, double entendres and romantic complications.

70’s/80’s “Retro” Adult Prom

"Lenten Mission"

7 p.m., St. Matthew Catholic Church, 8001 Longview Road – Father Mulhearn, C.M., will celebrate all week-end Masses, Feb. 23-24. All evening events begin at 7 p.m. Mon. – Wed. An Adult faith discussion will be held at 10 a.m. Tues. morning. Closing concert and talk at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

The Lee’s Summit Lions Club 56th Annual Pancake Breakfast

8-11 a.m., The Inn at Unity Village.1901 NW Blue Parkway – All you can eat pancakes by Chris Cakes. A donation of $7 for adults, $4 for 12 and under, proceeds to aid Eye Research and the Local Community.

Helping Hands of the Willing Workers

1 p.m., Longview Chapel Christian Church, 850 SW Longview Road – Join a weekly group that makes crafts and sews for the benefit of the church. The Helping Hands make items throughout the year to earn money for the building fund and make cheer baskets for the homebound. The group invites anyone looking for fellowship, fun and those who enjoy creating items, to join them. The group furnishes all supplies and is always looking for new ideas.
