what to

expect

and when

makes

forecasters

of us

trying

to avoid

surprise

be prepared

but just

last week

while focused

on an asteroid

a meteor

slipped in

happens

again again

now

it has been

ice snow

sleet mixture

of each

earlier than

anticipated

or slowed

shifting

storm lines

will we escape

experience

worse than

imagined

then

we know

snow stalled

streets

slick interstates

make caring

difficult

cant stop

to help

the motorist

stranded

on a hill

would only

complicate life

for a hundred

drivers behind

so pull around

keep going

even say

that is their

problem

they should

learn

to drive

life

better

too soon

one time

i am

the motorist

stranded

in many kinds

of storms

on many

different hills

needing

to remember

why others

cant stop

dont want

to ask them

complicate

their lives

yet when

it has taken

everything

in me

to make it

this far

all

i can do

is stall

and call

please

help
