About two years ago, members of the Lee’s Summit 360º Branding Committee began working on an effort to increase awareness about Lee’s Summit beyond our community through branding. The group’s months of hard work contributed to the creation of 'Yours Truly' – the tagline at the heart of a new brand advertising campaign highlighting Lee's Summit’s uniqueness.
Our, ‘Yours Truly’ campaign isn’t just a slick marketing slogan. It reflects the kind of community we really are. It is a place where a sense of community really does count; a place where we look out for one another and celebrate all those things that bring us together as neighbors.
The Lee’s Summit brand is quite simply a promise to deliver the benefits of our community whether it’s the quality services offered by the City, the products manufactured by our companies, or the world-class healthcare offered by our hospitals.
Our brand is also about the diverse people who live and work here, the City’s rich history dating back nearly 150 years, the flourishing cultural arts, the vibrant historic downtown, and our quality of life, including the trails, parks and other recreational activities offered in our community.
Our community-wide spirit of collaboration is another aspect of our Lee’s Summit brand, where working together to achieve a goal for the benefit of everyone is the norm. Our brand is also about our sense of community where neighbors help neighbors, opinions are encouraged, and everyone feels welcome.
It is all the great qualities that make Lee’s Summit one of the finest communities for living, conducting business and enjoying quality of life. It was true back in 1865, it’s true today and we’re pulling out all the stops to ensure it will be true for all future generations as well.
