Craddock named scholar-athlete
Lee’s Summit resident Chase Craddock, a junior at York College, was named a scholar-athlete for his academic performance during the fall 2012 semester while participating in the York College men’s soccer team.
Chase is the son of Rob and Robbin Craddock. He is a 2010 graduate of Lee’s Summit High School. Chase is majoring in business communication at York College.
To be recognized as Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference Scholar-Athletes, students must have a 3.25 cumulative GPA, be of sophomore status or greater, have completed the attendance of at least two terms at York College, and have participated in at least one intercollegiate contest sponsored by the MCAC.
This semester York College saw 36 student athletes recognized as MCAC Scholar-Athletes across five sports. York College leads the conference for number of students that meet the criteria as MCAC Scholar-Athletes.
York College is a four-year Christian liberal arts college in York, Nebraska. Founded in 1890, York College offers more than 25 majors and is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission.
