LSWHS dance team captures awards at invitational

The Lee’s Summit West High School Westside Girls captured awards Jan. 26 at the Lee’s Summit North High School dance invitational. The LSW dance team won first in jazz, first in hip hop and second in pom.

LSWHS also receives a special coach’s award for choreography in hip hop and a special judges’ award for the team’s technique in jazz. The Westside Girls will competed at the state competition Feb. 23 in St. Louis.
