Underwood Elementary collects 2,000 canned goods through Souper Bowl of Caring

Students and staff members at Underwood Elementary recently participated in the Souper Bowl of Caring, a metro-area food drive sponsored by the Kansas City Chiefs. The school collected approximately 2,000 canned goods that were donated to Lee’s Summit Social Services. Papa John’s, an Underwood business partner, donated pizza to the class bringing in the most food items. The Chiefs also donated prizes.
