JUSTIN WAYNE ADAMS
Justine Wayne Adams, 31, of Kansas City, died Feb. 22, 2013 as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident which occurred just west of Wichita, Kan.
He was born Sept. 22, 1981, in Kansas City, the son of John S. and Mary C. (Amen) Adams. He graduated from Lee’s Summit High School and attended Penn Valley Community College where he studied art and photography.
Justin was a creative and artistic soul, with a passion for traveling-visiting Italy several times as well as most of the 50 states, often with his beloved Huskies, Kade and Athena. Justin had a passion for art and sold his photographs at festivals around the country. In keeping with Justin’s loving and generous spirit, he gave in death, as an organ donor, as he did in life.
He was preceded in death in 2009 by his father, John S. Adams, of Lee’s Summit and will be interned with him.
Justin is survived by his mother, Mary Adams, of San Diego, California; sister and brother-in-law, Heather and David Richardson of Coronado, California; Uncle and Aunt Chuck and Gracie Amen of St. Joseph, Mo.; maternal grandparents, Wayne and Mary Jo Amen, of Brookfield, Mo.; maternal great-grandmother, Ruby Simpson of Brookfield, Missouri; and several cousins.
A memorial service will be held March 9, 2013 at Langsford Funeral Home at 10 a.m.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to The Justin Adams Memorial Fund, which the family set up to benefit rescue animals in the Kansas City area. Donations may be sent in care of the funeral home.
