Michael (Mike) Dean Potts, 46, of Lee’s Summit, passed away on March 2, 2013 at the home.
Mike spent most of his career working as an Engineering CAD technician at HNTB Corp. He loved sports, hunting and woodworking but his most cherished times were those spent with his family. Mike was proud to be an Eagle Scout.
He was preceded in death by his father, William R. Potts. Survivors include his wife, Ingrid Potts, his two sons, Eric and Andrew Potts, his mother, Wanda Potts and his sister, Michelle O’Neill and her husband, Michael.
Memorial services will be held at the Church of the Resurrection in Leawood on March 7 at 11 a.m. Visitation is March 6 from 6-8 p.m. with a Tribe of Mic-O-Say service at 7 p.m. at Langsford Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Association and/or the Boy Scouts of America Troop 264.
