LSMC medical offices has new tenant
Lee’s Summit Medical Center announces the addition of Rockhill Orthopaedics as a new tenant in its medical office building.
Orthopaedics and spine surgeon Mauricio A. Valdes and the longtime orthopedic surgeon Robert J. Takacs now have regular office hours on the Lee’s Summit Medical Center campus at 2000 SE Blue Parkway.
Rockhill Orthopaedics surgeons have performed surgery for and provided care to Lee’s Summit Medical Center patients since the hospital opened at its new location five years ago. Now Rockhill surgeons see patients for office visits and consultations there regularly.
“It’s great to have these surgeons on Lee’s Summit Medical Center’s campus so much more, now that they offer office visits and continue to perform orthopedic surgery here,” says Jackie DeSouza, chief executive officer of Lee’s Summit Medical Center.
Takacs is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with nearly 30 years of experience, specializing in total joint replacement, as well as general orthopedic surgery.
Valdes joined Lee’s Summit Medical Center’s medical staff last fall when he also joined Rockhill Orthopaedics as its first spine surgeon.
