Superior with invitation rating

Summit Christian Academy senior Trenton Ross of Lee’s Summit recently received a “Superior with Invitation” rating at the Assembly of God Fine Arts District Competition in Springfield. Ross scored second overall in the song writing division of the youth competition with his song “I’ll Go.” Ross’s song was inspired by his work with inner-city children of Milwaukee that he worked with during his August senior mission trip. He will travel to Orlando for a national competition the first week of August.
