While other school-age children may be traveling out of town for spring break, or at home sleeping in, one Lee’s Summit youngster is spending his hiatus from school as an intern at LEGOLAND Discovery Center Kansas City. Jonah Ludiker, a student at Longview Farm Elementary School, right, is learning this week the ins and outs of creating new LEGO models, creating a personalized LEGO name plate and learning new LEGO techniques with Jeremiah Boehr, left, a LEGO Master Model Builder. Ludiker’s hope is to become a Master Model Builder and he will teach what he learns from Boehr to other children by leading a school workshop and teaching a class in the Model Builder Academy. “I want to learn everything there is to know about being a Master Model Builder,” Ludiker said March 13. “I am excited to learn all of the behind the scenes stuff like starting the 4D Cinema movie and teaching other kids how to build LEGO racecars.”
