Spending time with Buddy

Ross Myers, a Lee's Summit lawyer, took his six-month-old German Shepherd Buddy for a romp March 12 at the Happy Tails Park on Ranson Road. "My kids are teenagers and they don't hang out with me anymore, so I thought: I'm going to get a dog," Myers said. He said he got Buddy when the dog was three months old. When meeting the breeder Buddy dashed across a lawn and jumped in Myers’ vehicle when he opened the door, he said, so it was an easy sale.
