Going bald for hope house

Christy Dimaggio and Abbie Kane, 8, of Lee’s Summit, start to shear Nick Swearngin of his orange locks during the Hair Razing for Hope House. The annual event to benefit the domestic violence shelter had 15 people shaved bald and a silent auction to raise money for Hope House programs. Swearngin dyed his hair to raise awareness of the March 16 event .
