SCA First Graders read over 32,000 minutes

April 10, 2013

Summit Christian Academy recently challenged first grade students to get excited about reading through a “Goody, Goody, Gumball” contest.

Students received a gumball sticker for every 30 minutes read. Together 47 students read 32,620 minutes, an average of 694 minutes per student.

The top two students from each class won a lunch at Pizza Street with their teacher during the school day
