Lee’s Summit Chamber announces candidates for Res in Motus awards

Each year the Lee’s Summit Chamber of Commerce accepts nominations for the Res in Motus (Business in Motion) Business of the Year awards. Awards are given in various size categories. The top three candidates were announced at the Chamber’s Membership Luncheon on Thursday, March 28.

•  Rejuvenate Mind-Body Wellness Center

Magnus

(more than 20 employees)

•  MCC-Longview

•  Metcalf Bank

•  Hawthorn Bank

The final award recipients will be announced at the Membership Luncheon on Friday, May 17. The top three recipients will have a site visit prior to the announcement of the winner in each category. Consideration is given regarding their service to the Chamber and to the community, prudent business practice, stability/growth, history of good employee relations, effective marketing strategies, technology resource management, growth in number of employees and the application presentation.
