“The Exonerated” comes to MCC-Longview

Metropolitan Community College-Longview’s Speech and Theater Department will present “The Exonerated,” by Jessica Blank and Erik Jensen April 19, 20, 25, 26, 27 at 7:30 p.m. in the Cultural Arts Center on the MCC-Longview campus at 500 S.W. Longview Rd. in Lee’s Summit.

Tickets are $8.00 in advance and $10 dollars at the door. For advance tickets please visit mccexonerated.brownpapertickets.com.

The 90-minute play, without intermission, moves between first-person monologues and scenes set in courtrooms and prisons. The stories of five men and one woman are based on their personal experiences, court records and media reports.

“The Exonerated” first opened 10 years ago.
