Scot Robert Pinnick, 41, of Lee’s Summit passed away unexpectedly on April 29, 2013.

Scot was born June 1, 1971 in Sellersville, Pa. to June Barr Pinnick and Donald Pinnick, moved to Lee’s Summit in 1977 and graduated from Lee’s Summit High School in 1990.

He is preceded in death by his father, Donald Pinnick of Lee’s Summit, grandmother, Ruby woods (Harley) of Holden, Mo., grandfathers, Robert Pinnick (Jewell) of Sumner, Ill. and John Barr (Betty) of Perkiomenville, Pa.; uncle, Robert Pinnick, Jr. (Debbie) of Sumner, Ill. He is also preceded in death by his mother’s biological family, Betty Walton, grandmother, Norman Walton, uncle and Phyllis Beck, aunt all of California.

Surviving is his mother, June Pinnick of Lee’s Summit; grandmother, Betty Barr (John) of Perkiomenville, Pa.; brother, Neil Pinnick (Kristi) of Overland Park; his one and only niece, Lacy Dawn Pinnick of Overland Park, whom he adored, as well as three uncles, four aunts, 14 cousins and their families.

Visitation will be 10 a.m.-noon, May 11, at Chapel Memories Funeral Home, 30000 Valor Drive, Grain Valley. No services are scheduled. Internment will be private.
