Michael Blau Agency donates to Lee’s Summit’s Prairie View Elementary School

May 10, 2013

Michael Blau Agency provided barbecue lunch for the entire staff of Prairie View Elementary School for Teacher Appreciation Day. Michael Blau, a Farmers Insurance agent, presented Donna Mathews with a $500 check on May 7 for the 2013 Snowman Mix project at Prairie View Elementary School, which she leads each year. This fundraiser provides Christmas gifts for Lee’s Summit students in need and is an excellent learning tool for the third graders as they are introduced to basic economics. The students learn the value of compassion in a positive way that builds community spirit while having fun.

Lee's Summit Journal is pleased to provide this opportunity to share information, experiences and observations about what's in the news.
