At Sunset Valley Elementary School , pictured below (or right, or left), the support of Terrific Tutors volunteers Kay Barber and Toni Travelent, allowed students in the Lee’s Summit R-7 medically fragile program to explore art through painting to freely express their imagination and creativity. Tabetha Betzner, licensed practical nurse at Sunset Valley shared, “Kay and Toni went out of their way to meet all the student’s needs so they could fully participate in the painting project.”
