MoDOT reconfigures traffic for I-470 bridge work

Traffic from July 8 to Sept. 15 will be shifted to accommodate detours created by Interstate 470 bridge work.Traffic on Colbern Road at Route 350 will be shifted to head-to-head configuration, and access to and from Colbern changes 9 a.m. Monday, July 8. The north half of the Colbern Road bridge over Route 350 will be reconfigured for head-to-head through traffic. The south half will be convert to a U-turn movement to detour traffic from the closed westbound Route 50/350 ramp to westbound I-470.

The Colbern Road bridge changes will only allow motorists exiting westbound Route 50/350 to Colbern Road to follow the U-turn or go east on Colbern Road. Westbound Route 50/350 traffic will not be allowed to turn left to go west on Colbern Road. Also, motorists westbound on Colbern Road will not be allowed to turn left onto the ramp to eastbound Route 50/350. The restrictions will continue through September 15.
